Singapore Construction Productivity Week (SCPW) 2016
Themed ‘Transforming the Way We Build through Innovation’, the Singapore Construction Productivity Week (SCPW) 2016 is an industry-wide event for developers, architects, consultants, builders and suppliers to exchange ideas on construction productivity, share the latest developments in new productive technologies, best practices and success stories, and encourage industry players to change the way they build through innovation.
Into its sixth year running, there are 16 construction productivity events planned during the SCPW this year. An expected 8,000 participants representing various industry stakeholders as well as students from the Institutes of Higher Learning will be involved in SCPW 2016.
Key events this year include the BuildTech Asia Exhibition, Build Smart Conference, Skilled Builders Project, inaugural SCAL Productivity & Innovation Awards (PIA) Competition 2016, Experiential Workshop, as well as the Productivity Workshop, Productivity Challenge and Productivity Race to engage tertiary students on construction productivity concepts.
BCA will also be conducting the fourth International Panel of Experts’ Meeting on Construction Productivity and Prefabrication Technology to review our productivity efforts and make recommendations on the way forward.

Singapore hosts buildingSMART International Standards Summit in October 2015
We are pleased to invite buildingSMART members and their guests to attend the buildingSMART International autumn summit.
The summit is a special opportunity to meet with world leaders in the development and delivery of open sharable data. We expect all the buildingSMART chapters from around the world to be represented, providing an opportunity for experts to share knowledge for further enhancement of buildingSMART’s openBIM processes and standards.
There will be plenary sessions giving information about the most recent standards, processes, tools and projects, as well as working sessions dealing with key themes.
The event is being coordinated with ISO/TC59/SC13 and Singapore Government BIM Conference.

The event is to be held at the Genting Hotel Jurong.
Cost of attendance is Singapore $500.00 for members and Singapore $600.00 for non members. This includes a “Welcome Dinner” on the Monday evening.
